Childhood home of the 34th Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah, during his formative years until December 1949. Here, under the nurturing care of his mother, Almarhum Hajah Hatijah binti Dato' Seri Dewangsa Ahmad and alongside his elder brother, Almarhum Raja Baharom, Sultan Azlan Shah's early life unfolded.

In 2008, recognizing its historical value, the residence was meticulously restored and transformed into a gallery by the Perak State Museum Department. The gallery offers visitors an intimate glimpse into the Sultan's early life, showcasing photographs and memorabilia from his childhood through his teenage years. Exhibits detail his educational journey, beginning at Sekolah Melayu Batu Gajah, progressing to the Government English School (now Sekolah Menengah Sultan Yussuf) and culminating at the Malay College Kuala Kangsar, before he pursued legal studies at the University of Nottingham in 1949.

Architecturally, the house retains its original structure, comprising two separate buildings: the main house and the kitchen. The main building serves as the exhibition area, while the kitchen has been repurposed as office space for staff. The gallery is thoughtfully divided into sections, including family genealogy, school years, sports and athletic activities and current developments, providing a comprehensive narrative of the Sultan's early life.

Conveniently situated approximately 24 kilometers from Ipoh, the gallery is easily accessible, with a travel time of about 30 minutes. Admission is free, inviting visitors to explore this unique cultural and historical site. The gallery operates from Monday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM and on Fridays from 9:30 AM to 12:15 PM and 2:45 PM to 4:30 PM. It opens on the first Saturday of each month and remains closed on Sundays.
