Constructed in 1936 by the Department of Irrigation and Drainage, this unique aqueduct channels water from Sungai Ijok over Sungai Redang Panjang, creating the illusion of a river flowing atop another. This ingenious design was pivotal for irrigating nearby paddy fields and facilitating tin mining operations, showcasing the blend of functionality and innovation of its time.
The structure comprises a 5-kilometer-long canal elevated above the natural river, supported by a bridge that remains sturdy to this day. Visitors can walk along this bridge, observing the clear waters of Sungai Ijok coursing above while Sungai Redang Panjang flows beneath—a rare and captivating sight.
