The museum's collection includes a fascinating array of artifacts, from indigenous crafts and traditional costumes to mining equipment that harkens back to the tin mining boom which once made Ipoh a bustling center of commerce.Visitors can explore galleries dedicated to the history of Ipoh City, the tin mining industry and the state's forestry sector.
Beyond its indoor exhibits, the museum's exterior holds significant historical value.The building itself is a historical artifact, with its architecture reflecting the blend of colonial and local design that characterizes many of Ipoh's landmarks. Notably, the museum grounds feature World War II-era air raid shelters, constructed in 1940 to protect occupants from aerial attacks.
